Taking place on 10/23/13 at New York City's Gotham Hall, Katie Couric hosted the evening, which featured a live fund-a-need auction with Seth Meyers as well as a performance by Cat Power. Host Committee members AnnaLynne McCord, Petra Nemcova and Ron Livingston attended, in addition to Dianna Agron, Dylan McDermott, Taryn Manning, Rebecca Minkoff, M. Night Shyamalan, Gretchen Mol, Jackie Cruz (Orange is the New Black), Serinda Swan (Graceland) and Arden Wohl.
The evening honored four individuals with the inaugural Voices for Change Award for their outstanding support of the Foundation’s mission of ending sex slavery and empowering survivors as part of the solution. This year’s Voices for Change Award honorees are Douglas Wood; The Estèe Lauder Companies; acclaimed fashion photographer Norman Jean Roy & Joanna Jean Roy; and SMF volunteer, Samira Panah.
Susan Sarandon, a loyal supporter of SMF, served on this year’s event Host Committee. The Committee also included Alexi Meyers, Beth Behrs, Kristen Bell, Sara Berman, Binta Brown, Annie Dickerson, Jason Flom, Chloe Flower, Kerry Girvin, Molly Gochman, Leith Greenslade, Padma Lakshmi, Lucy Liu, Rosemarie DeWitt & Ron Livingston, Susan Lyne, AnnaLynn McCord, Petra Nemcova, Samira Panah, Norman & Joanna Jean Roy, Russell Simmons, Serinda Swan and Diane von Furstenberg.
