Somaly Mam Foundation now accepting applications for New York City internship

The Somaly Mam Foundation is currently seeking qualified applicants for internship positions in New York City. Interested candidates should submit applications immediately. The internship requires a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week and is unpaid. Start and end dates are flexible.

Internship Description

Working closely with the Director of Operations, this position will support a large variety of the needs of the Somaly Mam Foundation. The candidate must have a computer and Internet access and be located in the New York City area.

Qualifications:

  • Commitment to human rights
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Strong research skills
  • Literacy in MS Word and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work creatively, independently and as a team member
  • Strong Attention to detail

  2. Hi.My name is pholla and today i was looking at a magazine and i see a story about sreypov so read it. and that’s how i know somaly man name.I didn’t know in Cambodia,that so many young girls are sexslave
    it’s so sad and painful for those girls.I go to cambodia alot of times but i didn’t know that horrible things going on like that.How
    can i help those girls.

  4. hi my name is George I just finished reading the book The Road Of Lost Innocence i was in shok all of this was happening in cambodia im sure its happening all around the world. I am a young guy i just turned 21 and i am looking forward to help you in what ever i can i like helping children i like being around them me myself i want to become a teacher and help children if there is any way i can help please be free to call me i am young person i know but i will love to help.
