Run, Bike, or Walk for the Cause
Raise awareness of human trafficking, and have fun doing it! Our supporters have faced some incredible challenges in the name of those who live in slavery, from running 100 miles through Ohio to cycling across the Gobi Desert. From extreme undertakings to the less so, any physical challenge can be an opportunity to raise funds and awareness for the cause. Examples of ongoing and past events include:
PROJECT FUTURES Futures Cycling Challenge
The Australian nonprofit PROJECT FUTURES organizes a yearly two-week cycling trip across Cambodia and Vietnam, to raise money for SMF. Along the way, participants visit shelters supported by SMF and get to know the people of Cambodia.
Run for a Revolution
Woodland for Women Worldwide, a high school organization in Connecticut, held a 5K race to raise awareness in their community, and raise funds for SMF.
