New York, NY, May 20, 2010 — The Somaly Mam Foundation, a leader in the global fight against human trafficking, is partnering with the Office of the Mayor of New York on a bold new public awareness campaign called “Let’s Call An End To Human Trafficking.”
The Body Shop stands as a model for how corporations can make a difference. The Somaly Mam Foundation has partnered with The Body Shop and their Stop Sex Trafficking of Children and Young People Campaign to raise funds and awareness to combat the epidemic of sex trafficking.
All of our shelters must purchase bottled water in order to ensure clean drinking water for residents, costing roughly $1500 per month. We are very happy to announce our partnership
The Somaly Mam Foundation submitted a Commitment to Action to the Clinton Global Initiative which has been accepted. The action will put into place a micro-financing
